About Opals Down Under

Est. in 1985, Opals Down Under is the premiere Opal retailer on the Sunshine Coast, specialising in quality unset black, boulder, crystal and white opal, as well as opal jewellery. Open 7 days a week (excluding some public holidays - see website for details), we also have a diverse range of semi-precious gemstone specimens and fossils. Our Scratch Patch Gem Fossicking areas are open 7 days a week, 9am to 4.30pm (excluding Sundays, where the pits close at 4pm). Opal Valuations provided (please book ahead), and we also provide opal cutting services, and customised jewellery.
