It probably took about an hour to put together but the instructions were excellent and the parts of great quality. We've used it every day since and we love the way it so easily folds in half for storage and how sturdy the wheels are so even my 11 years old can wheel it in and out of the shed. We've had and worn out the Chinese cheap tables (though some approach this price) - the quality of this item (made in France) is head and shoulders better - so spend the bit extra and get this quality product. You will use it daily and be able to easily store when not playing - anything else is a false economy.
