Travelling the lap and towing a caravan counterclockwise we decided to come back to Cairns for a week to recover from the corrugations of Cape York for a week. It was an opportunity to check the vehicle over and we decided the tyres had to be replaced. Tyrepower's price was reasonable, better than K-mart, but was told the tyres will come from Brisbane which would take 3-4 days so we placed the order. The salesman advised he would call when the tyres arrived which was by Saturday. We are due to leave the following Wednesday and everywhere is booked solid.. I rang the salesman Monday who advised the tyres had not been ordered and would take another 3-4 days to get them. Jax tyres came to the rescue and will fit a similar tyre, not the one I wanted. I was very disappointed with tyrepower's response, no apology, no care.

Friendly, clean, busy. Getting tyres I need overnight and fitting Thursday. Happy with that!
