About Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse

Visitors to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, Cape Naturaliste, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and the beautiful Geographe Bay coastline. Major restoration works have now commenced on the Cape Naturaliste lighthouse tower. Visitors can experience history in the making, with this only the second time work of this scale has occurred since the lighthouse was constructed in 1903. While visitors will be unable to climb the tower during the works, they will be able to take full advantage of the observation deck, grounds and cottages. Friendly tour guides provide fascinating insight into the functions of the working lighthouse & history of the area.. 59 steps to a balcony with scenic views. Compared to other lighthouses, this one looks like a dwarf, which is unique in its own way. Cape Leeuwin is a better one to visit in my view.
