My family and I, kids 9, 10 & 15, did this tour late September 2019. I often reflect on that 2.5 week road trip as the best family holiday we've ever had, and this tour plays a shining part in my memories. Authentic, fun, interesting. My boys enjoyed playing with the weapons, I enjoyed learning how to interpret an aboriginal painting. We cooked and tried the grub and learnt about plants and medicine. In fact, there was a paste made up which was good for all sorts of ailments, burns being one of them. I asked if I could put it on my sons leg, burnt on a motorbike exhaust just prior to our departure, which was painful and troubling him. That paste hardened on my sons leg like a protective scab, no more pain, no infection, and when it finally came off, no scar. So thank you for your first aid and thank you for the wonderful experience.
