Welcome to Phronesis Jiu Jitsu. We are a family operated gym that teaches and specialise in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) or Grappling. When my kids ask me, “Dad, are there such a thing as super powers”, my response generally is, “Yes, Jiu Jitsu”.
BJJ is such a unique and pure martial art, you learn and apply against resisting opponent’s self-defence techniques enabling a smaller skilled person to overcome an unskilled larger opponent. Besides the real-world self defence applications, it is also very beneficial for your physical and mental health in a fun and safe environment whilst at the same time increasing your self-confidence which bleeds into all aspects of your life.
