About CombatAUS National Performance Centre
From 1 January 2021, the Combat Institute of Australia (CIA) will manage delivery of the elite national high performance programs for Boxing, Judo and Taekwondo. This innovative and collaborative new approach will deliver enhanced high performance outcomes for all three sports by ensuring a
dedicated high performance focus, significantly increased and more secure funding and access to a greater range of performance support services.
This CombatAUS National Performance Centre will provide judo and taekwondo athletes with a full time venue, elite coaching and supplementary performance
support services focusing heavily on strength and conditioning, medical, physiotherapy and nutrition through the Victorian Institute of Sport
