About Glebe Library

The library is right in the heart of Glebe village on Glebe Point Road. One of the City of Sydney’s network of 9 library branches, Glebe Library is very popular with locals, tourists and families. The library is surrounded by a beautiful shaded garden and grassed area – a perfect place for reading. Regular programs and events at the library include a weekly storytime session for preschoolers. Toys and makerspace kits are available for members to borrow as well as books, audiobooks, DVDs and magazines. Library membership is free if you live in NSW. Bring your own device to plug in and make use of the free wifi or log on to the public computers available. The library shares the same location with the Glebe Customer Service Centre.
