The Problem Abertech had the opportunity to respond to a large emergency services communications contract however none of their existing product offering would work without the design and development of additional hardware. The Technical Solution Our team of software developers, electrical engineers & industrial designers helped Ambertech develop -Lightweight ruggedized enclosure that is to be carried by emergency services personnel -Waterproof enclosure designed to IP65 standards -Battery management system to deliver 8 hours of continuous run time with a hot swappable secondary battery pack. -GPS chip integration for personal location and asset tracking The Commercial Outcome Ambertech was able to successfully field-demonstrate the product to emergency services ahead of the contract submission deadline.
