About Yoowinna Wurnalung Aboriginal Healing Service Ltd
Yoowinna Wurnalung Aboriginal Healing Service (YWAHS) is a fully incorporated and independent community organisation that delivers family violence services to Aboriginal communities in Wellington and East Gippsland Shires, Victoria, from Yarram through to Cann River.
Our activities, programs and services help to prevent, reduce and respond to all forms of family and community violence. We support and empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, men, children, youth, Elders, couples and families to have a better understanding of family violence, and we support the recovery and healing of victim survivors.
We also provide services to those who choose to use violence to support them to address and be accountable for their behaviour.
